Additional written agreements, rate schedules, or consignment notes may also apply to specific jobs and will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with these Terms.

Horizon Logistics provides freight transport, logistics coordination, and related services across Australia. Service availability, transit times, and capabilities depend on freight type, route, volume, and operational conditions.

Quotes provided through our website or sales team are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may change if shipment details differ from the quote request, or if additional handling, waiting time, permits, or access requirements apply.

3. Website use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the website’s operation. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malicious code, or scrape content for commercial reuse without our written consent.

4. Quotes, bookings, and customer responsibilities

When requesting a quote or booking a shipment, you must provide accurate and complete information about the goods, dimensions, weight, hazardous classification (if any), pickup and delivery sites, and any access or timing constraints.

You are responsible for ensuring goods are properly packed, labelled, and ready for collection at the agreed time, and that delivery sites can receive the freight safely. Delays caused by incomplete information, inaccessible sites, or unprepared freight may attract additional charges.

5. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are as stated on our invoices or customer credit agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or decline services where accounts are overdue or credit limits are exceeded.

6. Liability and insurance

Freight carriage is subject to applicable Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies, and any conditions set out in our consignment documentation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horizon Logistics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from website use or freight services, including loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational harm.

Customers are encouraged to arrange adequate cargo insurance for high-value or time-critical freight. Please contact us if you require assistance arranging cover.

7. Prohibited and restricted goods

You must not tender goods that are illegal, improperly declared, or prohibited under Australian law or our operational policies. Hazardous, dangerous, perishable, or specially regulated goods must be disclosed in advance and accepted by us in writing before carriage.

We reserve the right to refuse, quarantine, or return freight that is unsafe, misdeclared, or non-compliant.
